(Age 86)

Our cherished and beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather entered into rest on January 28th, 2011. He was born on December 11, 1924 in Davenport, IA to Max and Mae Maust. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Eleanor Maust; his children: Sharon Maust, Max Maust, and Patti Roadhouse; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Aileen Hanson. Charlie worked in the tire industry for 47 years; most recently as the regional manager for Bandag, Inc from where he retired in 1989. He was an avid reader, golfer, and fisherman. He truly enjoyed life and loved to laugh. His happiest moments were spent with his family. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A memorial service will be held on Friday, February 4th, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Hazen and Jaeger Valley Funeral Home, 1306 N. Pines Rd, Spokane Valley, WA.
