Clarence A. "Ski"

Long time Spokane Resident Clarence A. "Ski" Lesczykowski M.M.C.S. passed away February 13, 2011 after a long, happy life. He was born April 5, 1918. He joined the Navy January 2, 1942. While on active duty he served on the U.S.S. Pensacola, U.S.S. Hector and U.S.S. Rochester. Cal joined the Navy Reserve in 1946 and retired in 1978. He was a member of Labor Local 238, VFW, Reserve Association League #38, and the Navy Institute. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the outdoors; this he shared with all his many family members. He is survived by his brother Danny Shirley, along with many nieces and nephews. Cal will be missed by all who new him. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Spokane Humane Society or the Spokane Food Bank. A memorial will be held at a later date.
