Dr. Evan Forsnes saved my life in 2007. I was dying of a placental abruption. Thank you for the gift of life for both me, and my son. He graduates this spring and is a running start student im computer networking and security. I am happy and living life fully! I was sorry to hear he passed.

I think of Uncle Evan often. I am so proud of his family and my heart hurts for each of you. I wish I could hear Evan's thoughts about this pandemic; I'm sure he would have plenty to say from both a medical and a humorous perspective on the world. I wish we could still call him after my doctor's appointments to get his second opinion. I believe he is watching over his wife, kids, sisters, and parents, and that one day we will see him again. I pray that peace comes to the hearts of those who are missing him.

Darla:
I well remember Evan and also met you at the UW when Evan was a classmate. (We often studied together.) The School of Medicine emailed all of us two days ago letting us know Evan had died but a bit late to attend his service. I wanted you to know he is fondly remembered among his medical school peers and will be missed.
A warm and wistful greetings from coastal Maine,

I can't think about Evan without a smile coming to my face. He always had an incredibly sarcastic joke to throw down, and he always knew how to lighten the mood. I'm sure if he were here he'd have something funny to say to cheer us all up. I always admired how incredibly witty he was. You could just tell he really feels things deeply and he cares very much for the people around him. So glad to know Uncle Evan. Can't wait till we're crackin' jokes again up above.

Dear Darla, Maja, Mark, Maren, and Chloe:
We mourn with you as we also loved and respected your dear husband and father.
We are so very sad that we are unable to be there with you at this time. However, we will be with you in the future. Perhaps not always in your presence; but always in thoughts, love, prayers and s.upport.
We love you so very much.

I had the pleasure of working with Dr Forsnes not only as an L&D nurse at Sacred Heart but also served in the Navy with him at Portsmouth Naval Medical Center. I was a Corspman in the Gynecology Department and he was a new Resident. I am saddened by his passing, he will be missed by many. My heart goes out to his family.
