Passed away Saturday, April 23, 2011. Frank was born February 17, 1932 in Craig, CO to "Buck" and Ruth Berglund. After moving to Spokane in 1934, he went to high school in Hunters, WA for a couple years, but graduated from Lewis & Clark High School. After graduation he joined the Army paratroopers and then began a 55 year career in the construction industry, working on bridges, building schools, selling and supervising construction of commercial buildings.

Frank enjoyed building and flying remote controlled airplanes and was very active in the Lion's Eye program, always participated in fireworks and hotdog sales, was secretary of the Sunrise East Lions Club for many years and District Governor of District 19-E 2006-2007. He was honored with the designation of being a Melvin Jones Fellow by Lions Club International.

Frank was survived by his sister Anita Hansen and brother-in-law Arlyn Hansen of Rathdrum, ID; his niece Susan Ryder of Bothell, WA, nephews Brad Hansen (wife Connie) of Clarkston, WA and Bruce Berglund of Yakima, WA; four grand-nieces and grand-nephews and two great-grand-nieces. He was preceded in death by his father "Buck" Berglund, mother Ruth Berglund, brother Joe Berglund and niece Traci Whallon.

In Frank's memory there will be a light dinner served for family and friends at the VFW at 212 S. David Rd in Spokane Valley, on May 16th at 4 P.M.
