Spokane Valley resident Hope Chaney Braun, 64 passed away Thursday, March 31, 2011. Hope was born December 28, 1946. Hope was married to Ron Braun, who was the love of her life, for 48 years. She dedicated so much of herself for the past 30 years to Right to Life of Spokane and had a passion for helping mothers in need as well as any human life in need. She was a proud member of the Red Hat Society, and enjoyed her time with her dear friends, however, Hope's true happiness was found when surrounded by her family. She loved being a grandma so much and was such a wonderful wife, mom, --gram', sister, daughter and friend. The world is a better place because Hope was in it. Her mother, Eleanor Chaney Baker and dad, Walt Chaney as well as her sister, Lesley Pierson, precede her in death. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ron Braun; daughters: Donna Rae (Braun) Olson, Toni (Braun) Bates and Brenda (son-in-law Richard) Poston, sister, Renie (Peter) Cannava of Soldotna, Alaska, grandsons; Kirk Olson, Richie Poston, Kurtis Poston, Tyler Poston and Trent Olson as well as many very dear friends. Memorials may be made to Right to Life at: 111 East Central, Spokane WA 99208 in honor of Hope. A memorial service is being held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 9, 2011 at Berean Bible Church in Spokane Valley, we invite all who would like to join in a celebration of this amazing woman's life.
