CUMMINGS, Jack Wright (Age 90) Jack Wright Cummings was born on November 16, 1930 and passed away May 3, 2021. He's survived by his wife of 60 years, Rosemary and four daught-ers: Janice / Faron Hall (Spokane), Linda / Jerry Wiatrowski (Arizona), Vicki / Doug Wise (Seattle), Sheryl Guidry (Louisiana), 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Jack attended Rogers high school until November 24, 1948 when he chose to enlist in the Army. He was primarily stationed in Germany and was discharged August 6, 1952. After returning state side, he was hired at Kaiser where he worked hard supporting his family for 30 years. After he retired in 1982, he was able to relax, do some fishing, play Pinochle, and spend time with his family. Anyone who knew Jack also knew what was important to himfood, especially desserts, scratch tickets, Price is Right, and Wheel of Fortune, along with an occasional iced green tea from Starbucks with a piece of lemon bread, and it took little to nothing to get him talking of his Army days, old cars, and his buddies. Now he can scratch an endless amount of scratch tickets, watch all the game shows he wants, and have any dessert his heart desires. Jack's home for the past seven years had been at Willow Grove and we would love to thank Ryan and his staff, especially Andrew, for the exceptional loving care he received. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you make a donation in Jack's name to Horizon Hospice. A graveside service will be held for Jack at Riverside Memorial Park on Friday, May 14th at 10:30am. All family, framily, and friends are welcome. Please wear blue which was his favorite color as we celebrate his life.
