McLEAN, Joyce Rose Born April 8, 1936 in Louisville, Kentucky The 3rd child of Everett and Virginia Mullins. She had two older and four younger brothers. After attending school she moved into the workforce. She eventually came to Spokane to visit her brother who was in the Air Force. She met and married Donald McLean. She worked in retail in downtown Spokane at The Bon Marche, The Crescent, and Bernard's Ladies Clothing. She was head cashier at Bernard's for eighteen years before going to work for Safeway Stores from where she retired. She loved fine clothes, fine dining, traveling in her motor home and being with her friends and family. She left us on January 3rd of 2019. She will always be loved and never be forgotten. May she rest in peace. There will be a Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Cathedral on Saturday, January 19th of 2019 at 10:00 AM followed by inurnment at Holy Cross Cemetery mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Horizon Hospice for the wonderful work they do.
