Ralph Casper
100 Years of Life

A very longtime resident of Spokane, Washington, pas-sed away on Tuesday, April 12, 2011. He is the loving father and father-in-law of Glenn R. and Cheryl Whittle of Chattaroy, Washington, and Margene Borchers of Spokane, Washington. He enjoyed fifteen grandchil-dren and fifty-three great-grandchildren. His dear wife, Elna Whittle, passed away in 1988. Born on December 26, 1910, at Oakley, Idaho, Mr. Whittle was a longtime produce buyer and warehouse manager for Safeway stores in Spokane. He is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and held many leadership positions in the church in Spokane. Ralph left a legacy of honesty and integrity worthy of much emulation. He had been a member of the Lions Club and worked with the United Way in Spokane. For many years, Ralph was co-owner of Ames IGA located in the Whitworth area. Funeral Services honoring Ralph will be at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 18, 2011, at the Riverside Chapel, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Chattaroy, with Bishop Joel Stapf conducting. Interment will be in the Garden of Deseret, Greenwood Memorial Terrace Cemetery in Spokane.
