DIXON, Ralph

Ralph Dixon (age 73) was born April 26, 1937 to Roger and Helen Dixon. Wednes- day, March 9, 2011, he lost his battle with liver cancer and entered peacefully into rest at his home, sur- rounded by his family. Ralph worked for Don Larsen Painting for 29 years, retiring in 1993. He built a cabin on the Pend Oreille River and furniture to fill it. He enjoyed gardening, always having a large garden and a manicured lawn. He was a passionate and skilled woodworker. He enjoyed fishing and his favorite vacation place was Hawaii. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Irene; daughters: Nicole Dixon, Stacy (Tye) Beamer; grandchildren: Ryen Tarr, Tori and Trevor Beamer and sister, Shirley (Rolly) Weiss of Clarkston ID. The family wishes to give special thanks to Hospice for all their kindness. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, March 15, at 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
