Ryan Joel

Ryan Joel Zicha, 19, Pocatello, passed away, Friday afternoon, January 14, 2011. He was born on October 26, 1991 in Spokane, WA to Jason Paul and Julie Elizabeth Kesel Zicha. He attended High- land High School and was currently studying online with Phoenix University.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Jason and Julie Zicha, Pocatello; his grandparents, Dan and Linda Kemnitz, Spokane; a sister, Corinne Frances Hawkins, Pocatello; and Sarah Joy Champion, Spokane and Emma, Pocatello. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Philip and Frances Kesel. Ryan was an avid outdoors- man, attained the rank of Life Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, was a successful competitive shooter, gifted writer and was currently pursuing a degree in Psychology. Ryan had a huge heart and was always willing to help anyone in need, and was an advocate for many causes. Ryan will be dearly missed by a large extended family and larger group of friends across the country and throughout the world. Memorial will be January 29th from 2pm to 6pm at the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council located at 6116 N. Market, Spokane WA. The family asks that no flowers or gifts be received; donations may be made in his name to the "It Gets Better" organization at www.itgetsbetter.org.
