MAGGARD, Twila P.
(Tiffany)
(Age 81)

Peacefully passed away at her home on Friday, April 8, 2011, surrounded by her family. Twila was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and aunt. She was born in Spokane to Pearl and Ralph Tiffany on October 24, 1929. Twila was raised just outside the Cheney area and attended Cheney High School. She met her handsome husband of 60 years, Patrick, on New Year's Eve 1950 and they were married less than two months later. Twila spent her married life as a homemaker. She enjoyed bowling, gardening, and baking (awesome pies). Taking care of her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren was what gave her the most joy. Her husband, parents, and two siblings preceded her in death. Twila is survived by her sister, Shirley Feigner; brother, Ernest (Rosemarie) Tiffany; daughter, Gloria White; son, Brad Maggard; granddaughters, Ann (Scott) Sutter, Jen (Allen) Kennedy, Sonja Thomas; and ten great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Thursday, April 14 from 9:00-8:00PM at RIPLINGER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY 4305 N. DIVISION SPOKANE, WA. Funeral service will begin at 2:00PM Friday, April 15, 2011 at the Dishman Baptist Church 315 N. Argonne in the Spokane Valley with interment immediately following at the Pines Cemetery. The family will be holding a celebration of life at the Dishman Baptist Church immediately following the interment. Twila's family would like to thank Hospice of Spokane for their care and support. A special heartfelt thank you to Twila's "Angel" hospice nurse Tom for the compassionate care you showed Twila and her family.
