(Age 92)
Funeral services will be held for Ruth J. Kissinger (92), a longtime resident of Spokane, at 11AM on Monday, January 25th at Saint Anthony's church, followed by a reception at the church. Burial services will follow at 1:30PM at Holy Cross Cemetery. There will be a visitation at Hennessey Funeral Home Sunday, January 24th from 5PM to 7PM, 2203 N Division St, Spokane.
Ruth was born on February 10, 1923 in Colorado. She graduated from Adams State College with a degree in music and education, and moved to Spokane where she lived the remainder of her life. Her husband of 50 years, Fred C. Kissinger, died in 2004. Ruth is survived by three children--Steve (Sheri), Elisa, and Luke (Kathy), two
grandchildren--Megan and Daniel, a sister Cecilia, and many nieces and nephews.
Ruth was a member of Saint Anthony's parish and taught English and music there for many years. She loved playing the piano, and most Sundays could be found playing the organ for church services.
