News Death Notice

HILLARD, Helen Marjorie (Dunlavey) 84, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born October 3, 1929 in Urbana, Ohio, the daughter of Alfred and Rhoda (Petty) Dunlavey. Mrs. Hillard was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Survivors include four children: Thomas (Janet) Haynes, Lancaster, Ohio, Diana Shirk, Laura Tucker and Melissa Hillard all of Springfield, six grandchildren: David (Racheal) Tucker, Patricia Curtis, Christina (Shawn) Crose, Joanna Perkins, Chad Shirk and Dawn Shirk, fifteen great grand children and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband: George D. Hillard in 1994, her son: Donald Haynes, two sisters: Alice French and Clara Koerner and her parents. Memorial services will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, November 16 in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 1601 Innisfallen Avenue, Springfield, with Elder Jim Rice officiating. Mrs. Hillard's family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Evercare Hospice and especially to Jennifer from Evercare. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY-ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
