MALLOY, Barbara J., RN. Age 65 of Centerville passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 after a very courageous fight with cancer. She was born in Coldwater, OH on November 2, 1952 to John and Dolores Sowar. We celebrate a life that she lived to the fullest, caring and loving her husband Marty for over 43 years and her three amazing children, Ryan and Alexandra of Charleston, SC; Kerry and Charles of Pittsburgh, PA, and Colin with Kim in Santa Barbara, CA. She was affectionately known as "Lady GaGa" to her two granddaughters, Schuyler and Augusta. Barb lived and loved every moment of her life and leaves behind countless lives she touched and helped in her 43 year nursing career. She leaves her many relatives and friends to celebrate her wonderful life's journey. It was a heck of a run Babe! Mass of Christian Burial, 10:30 am, Wednesday September 19 at the Church of the Incarnation, preceded by a prayer service 10:00 am Wednesday at the Westbrock Funeral Home, 5980 Bigger Rd. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 5:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St Vincent de Paul, envelopes available at the funeral home.

I worked with Barb over the years at Anthem. We shared laughs and tears and I will miss her. She loved her husband and family so much and I know she was so happy to spend this last year doing what she loved, spending time with those she loved.
