David E. WILSON Obituary
WILSON, David E. 66, of Springfield was surrounded by his family when he peacefully passed away on Tuesday May 15, 2018 in his home. He was born March 14, 1952 in Springfield the son of William J. and Norma G. (Trimmer) Wilson. David was a 1970 graduate of Tecumseh High School and earned his Associates Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Clark Tech. He was retired from Rush Trucking and was a lifetime member of Bethel Baptist Church, where he had held numerous offices. David was a past President of Donnelsville Lions Club and was a faithful blood donor (Eleven Gallons). He was a talented woodworker, for his own fulfillment, and was a volunteer for Habitat For Humanity. He is survived by his wife of forty-four years Linda S. (Dubbs) Wilson; three sons W. Dean Wilson, Matthew S. (Stephanie) Wilson and Adam J. (Megyn) Wilson, all of Springfield; sister Teresa Zook of Tucson, AZ; brother John H. (Sue) Wilson of Springfield; eleven grandchildren Jacob Riley, Destanee, Bethanie and Zackary Wilson, William and Sydney Wilson, Sammy and Andie Murakami, Luke, Sara and Jordan Wilson; nephews Jeff and Greg Zook; father-in-law Ralph Dubbs; and brother-in-law Dale Dubbs. He is preceded in death by his parents and a grandson Joshua Dean Wilson. Visitation will be Friday from 6 8 PM. in Bethel Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM. in the church with Pastor Scott Fetter officiating. Burial to follow in Vale Cemetery.
