David TALMAGE III Obituary
TALMAGE, III, David S. 78, a Lee County resident since 2003, formerly of Dayton, OH passed away Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Cape Coral, FL. He was born August 3, 1940 in Cincinnati, OH to David and Mary Talmage, now deceased. He had a successful career in sales before retiring to Pine Island in 2003 where he umpired Pine Island Little League until 2007. David spent many hours volunteering at Cape Coral Hospital and was a member of CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) and later became Team Captain and Training Instructor. Dave built a lovely home on Lake Cumberland, Kentucky where he taught some grandchildren how to fish. He loved boating and the Lake. Nascar was another great love. Dave and his first wife, Judy, were a part of stock car racing. He loved speed!!!! He is survived by his wife, Julie Talmage of Cape Coral, FL; three children, David F Talmage, Doug A. Talmage, and Denise K. Keenan; five grandchildren David, Nick, Spenser,Sara, and Kristen; two step children, Kurt C. Uhlmann and Liz V. Sawyer; five step grandchildren, Joe, Avery, Nathan, Cody, and Lexi; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. The Celebration will be held in the Spring. Memorial contributions may be made to a in loving memory of David S. Talmage.
