TIREY, Donna L. Passed away peacefully Friday, November 30, 2018 in her home where she wanted to be. She was born April 14, 1939 to Foster Clarence Burchnell and Rachel Pauline(Eaton) Burchnell. Donna was wed to Clarence Vincent Tirey on March 23, 1957 in Richmond, Indiana. Donna is survived by 3 siblings; Shirley(John) Lyons, Dick(Paulette) Burchnell and Bill(Cindy) Burchnell and sister-in-law, Pat Schafer. Donna is also survived by her children, James(Barb Greer) Tirey, Cheryl(Gary) Smith, Jeff Tirey and Patricia(Darin)Beard along with a special and beloved daughter-in-law, Ruth Tirey; six grandsons, Robbie and Juan Gonzalez, Nick and Ryan Tirey, Colin and Kyle Beard; numerous great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Tirey; her parents and two brothers, Michael Burchnell and Raymond "Corky" Burchnell. Donna was a homemaker for many years, caring and raising her children before entering the workplace after her last daughter was in school. Donna worked in the food industry for many, many years. Eventually, she opened her own restaurant "The Country Patch" which she ran for several years with her husband, Sonny. Donna enjoyed time with family and friends and she liked collecting Angels. Visitation will be held on December 8, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 12 p.m. being held at Ferncliff Chapel, 501 W. McCreight Avenue, Springfield, Ohio which will include a gathering at the Ferncliff Cemetery Scattering Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Donna's name to the St. Jude's Research Hospital P.O. Box 1893, Memphis, TN 38101-9950 or the Nation Kidney Foundation Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016. Arrangements in care of Ferncliff Funeral Home.
