Joyce Caudill Obituary
CAUDILL (Hawthorne), Joyce Lenora Age 82 of Centerville, passed away peacefully at Elmcroft of Washington Township surrounded by her loving family on December 2, 2018. She was born February 5, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, the youngest of ten children to the late Leonard and Gertrude (Hoover) Hawthorne. Joyce was a graduate of Patterson Co-Op, Class of 1954. The family would like to thank for their care and compassion for Joyce in her final days. She is survived by her husband of 36 years: John Caudill, son: Rick (Stephanie) Shumard of Monroe, daughter: Kathy (Allen) Campbell of Washington State, sister: Geraldine (Fred) Ebert of Texas, 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her sisters: Betty (Clyde) Nies, Gloria (Elwood) Miller, Yvonne Hawthorne, Dorothy (Robert) Sweeny, and her brothers: Paul (Joyce) Hawthorne, Robert Hawthorne, William (Jeannie) Hawthorne, Thomas (Paula Jean) Hawthorne, sisters-in-law: Barbara Hawthorne and Barbara Hawthorne. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 7, 2018 at the Kindred Funeral Home (400 Union Blvd., Englewood) with Reverend Dan Kincer officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services. Interment will follow the services at Royal Oak Memorial Gardens in Brookville.
