Larry A. VINCE Obituary
VINCE, Larry A. 67, of Springfield, went home to be with his wife on Sunday, July 8, 2018. He was born on September 5, 1950, in Springfield, the son of the late Robert and Peggy (Engle) Vince. Along with his parents, Larry is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Betty S. (Hall) Vince in 2005. He leaves behind to cherish his memory, brother, Ronnie Vince (Willa Williams) of Springfield; children, Angie (Rick) Jones of Fairborn and David Hunsucker of Vandalia; grandchildren, Nicole (Blair) Pyles and Ashley Jones (Ricky Nickels); great-grandchildren, Lauren Pyles, Hannah Nickels, Haley Nickels and Dalton Pyles; special nephew, Chris Vince; life long and close friends, Phil (Debbie) Lippencott, Bee and Myla Hall, Mike and Tina Perry, Mike and Shirley Vince and Rick and Edie Vince; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends. Larry retired from Hobart after 24 faithful years and finished his career as a commercial truck driver. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and also the Machinist Club. His passion for music and playing the drums was evident every time he and his brother got their band together. He will always be remembered for being the jokester and life of the party, his love for motorcycles and for being a handyman always helping others with whatever they needed and especially his love for beer. Larry's most important priority in life was his family and every minute he spent with them was the best times of his life. The lives he touched will be forever changed but the smiles he leaves behind will always be cherished. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5-8p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER. Service will be held on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 1:00p.m. also at the funeral home.
