Mildred STAARMAN Obituary
STAARMANN (Laney), Mildred Age 90 of Hamilton passed away on Tuesday, October 9, 2018. She was born in Hamilton, Ohio on June 21, 1928, the daughter of Beckham (Beck) and Angela Laney. On September 25, 1948, she married Matthew Louis (Lou) Staarmann and he preceded her in death on October 5, 1983. She was a member of St. Ann Church. Survivors include two sons, Timothy Gerard Staarmann and Gary John (Aura Beth) Staarmann; two daughters, Mary Lynne (Terry) Burney and Kimberly Ann (Jeff) Reed; six grand- children, Sara (James) Wynn, Sonia Staarmann, Stacy Staarmann, Jacqueline (Nick) Martini, Angela (Eric) Storm, and Constance Staarmann; ten great-grandchildren, Peyton Hagler, Riley Staarmann, Reed Martini, Jude Martini, Everett Paul Martini, Millisun (Milli) Wynn, Magdalyn (Maggie) Wynn, Josephine (Josie) Storm, Jasper Roush and Mavery Crane; three sisters, Lorraine Laney, Mary Scheffel, and Melba (Joe) Miller; three brothers, Raymond Laney, William (Donna) Laney and James Laney; a sister-in-law, Shirley Laney; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by a son, Matthew Louis Staarmann Jr.; a daughter, Lynne Anne Staarmann; two sisters, Evelyn Williams and Rita Fishwick; a brother, Donald Laney; sister-in-law, Janet Laney; three brothers-in-law, Kenneth Scheffel, Wendell Fishwick, and Frank Williams. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Edward Crane, Nurse Sarah, and the entire staff of TriHealth Oncology for the excellent and compassionate care and support over the years. Friends were invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am Friday October 12, in St. Ann Church with Fr. Larry Tharp celebrant. Burial will be in St. Stephen Cemetery.
