SOUTHAM, Patricia Mae "Trish" Age 64 of Enon, OH, passed away on September 2nd, 2018, after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer. Trish was born in Springfield, OH on September 26th, 1953, the daughter of Kenneth & Ann (Riddle) Belles. She graduated from North High School. Trish was married to the late Andrew "Tom" Southam on May 29th, 1985 in Vandalia, OH; they were married for 20 years and raised their beloved son, Brendan Southam. Trish worked as a civilian personnel specialist for Wright Patterson Air Force Base for over 43 years. She loved traveling, exercising, Italian food, wine, going to concerts and later developed a deep love for playing tennis. Trish always stayed active and loved spending time with her friends and family. She was kind, caring and funny, and deeply loved her pets. She was exceptionally proud of her son and loved to share his numerous accomplishments, including that he is a physician. She always had a smile on her face and often remarked on how blessed she felt to have led the life she had. Trish is survived by her son, Brendan (Janean) Southam, mother Ann "Duby" Belles, brother Ken (Bonnie) Belles Jr., sister Vicki (Jeff) Kohut, nieces and nephew Tracy (Scott) Flomerfelt, Andrea Steele, Kenny (Jessica) Belles, Chelsea Kohut, and Ashley (Dan) Miller and other cherished family and friends including her boyfriend, Bob Cruset. Trish is preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Belles Sr. and her husband, Tom Southam. A gathering of friends and family will be held on September 22nd from 1:00 - 2:00 PM with service beginning at 2:00 PM at Jackson Lytle & Lewis Life Celebration Center, 2425 N Limestone St, Springfield, OH. The family wishes to thank the James Cancer Center as well as Ohio Community Mercy Hospice for providing excellent, compassionate care throughout her treatment.
