Ralph E. MCCOY

1934 - 2018

MCCOY, Ralph E. Age 84, of Dayton, passed away on December 23, 2018. He was born in Valley Falls, KS on June 29, 1934 to the late Alvin & Ruth McCoy. Ralph proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He taught computer technology at NCR for 25 years, and then went on to the Digital Controls Corporation as the Assistant Vice President of Systems Engineering for 18 years. Ralph loved to travel and spend time watching his grandchildren play sports. He enjoyed playing poker in Vegas, tinkering with computers, and building/flying radio controlled model airplanes. Ralph was preceded in death by his brother, Ross McCoy of Topeka, KS. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Shirley McCoy; daughter, Lisa (Ric) Dale; grandchildren, Ryan (Courtney Morgan) Dale and Rachael Dale; and great-granddaughter, Ellie Morgan Dale.
