News Death Notice

LIPPOLIS, Wanda J. 85, of Springfield, passed away Thursday, August 21, 2014 in Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born June 3, 1929 in Draper, Virginia, the daughter of Miles B. and Mallie V. (Griffen) Clark. Mrs. Lippolis was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. She had been a volunteer for Family Services where she crocheted blankets for new born babies. She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, painting and reading. Survivors include three children; John (Monica) Lippolis, Paula (Gene) King and Dawn (Jack) Ivy all of Springfield, three grand children; Tiffany (Michael) Brugman, Wittney (Joe) Thompson and Christopher (Renea) Lippolis, seven great grand children; Hayden, Mason and Colin Lippolis, Harper and Finn Thompson and Isaac and Ethan Brugman, one sister; Bonnie Smith, Pulaski, Virginia and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; Paul R. Lippolis, April 27, 1990, a brother; Willie Clark, a sister; Catherine Pulliam and her parents. Visitation will be held from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Monday in Christ Episcopal Church, 409 East High Street, Springfield, Ohio 45505. Funeral services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday in the church with The Rev. Charlotte Reed and Deacon Norm Horstman officiating. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Mrs. Lippolis' family would like to thank Dr. Kevin Macy, Community Mercy I. C. U. and Quality Care Transport for their loving care and compassion. Arrangements are being handled by the JONES-KENNEY- ZECHMAN FUNERAL HOME.
