I recently found out that Chris had died from one of my friends in the ER at Community. I took care of Chris before his transplant and after. I am so sorry about your loss and the suffering you must have experienced over the last several months. Chris was always kind and respectful to the nurses who cared for him. God bless you and I believe that Chris is free and smiling, just like that beautiful picture of him Sincerely, Chris, RN Springfield Regional ER

My heart broke when I heard that Chris had to have a kidney transplant. Then I when I found out that he made it through the surgery then had problems in recovery and wasn't doing well. My mind just started going back to all kinds of memories.
Chris and I went to BSCA together as kids every summer. He was the 1st person to welcome me to Cedarville when I moved there at 13 years of age.
When I would stay with my grandma and go to church with her Chris was there to make me feel welcome when I felt like an outsider because I wasnt in my home church.
We was my first true crush and always will be my first true crush. He always made me laugh and when I was mad he knew just what to say to turn my mood around.
I am a better person for knowning Chris and he will forever live in my memory. God Bless You Chris and I will be waiting on the day I can hear you say Welcome to Heaven let me show uou around.
Rest In Peace Dear Friend Rest In Peace.

My heart is filled with sorrow and regret . . . sorrow for Chris' family and friends and regret for not keeping in touch. It helps to know that he is no longer in pain. I have many high school memories with Chris. I will miss his gentle heart and sweet, uplifting smile. Love and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.

Such good memories of Chris. He and my brothers were such good friends growing up, and he was always so respectful to my parents. His smile was always so "cheerful".
May your strength come from HIM during this time.
God Bless,
Brian & Beth (Dean)McClellan & family

Chris will be deeply missed by all of his friends, family, & co-workers at Eby-Brown Co. He was a genuine person & fun to be around. Chris spoke often of his son, whom he loved dearly. As well as his girlfriend, Kathy. My heart goes out to all of you. May God Bless you as he now has Chris. My prayers and thoughts are with you. He is now an angel watching over all of his loved ones.

Chris was a wonderful, funny guy! He talked about his son with great pride and admiration. I am blessed to have known him and rest assured he is watching over you and is with you in spirit. We all will miss him.
