Maurice RUTTER Obituary


News Death Notice

RUTTER, Maurice F. 80, of Enon, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 25, 2014. He was born on February 5, 1934, in Newton, Missouri, the son of the late Arkel and Ruth (Wilkins) Rutter. Maurice retired after many years in Civil Service from Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He was a devoted family man and especially loved spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by one daughter, Terri (John) Hurley; 2 sons, Tracy (Tanya) Rutter and Todd (Erin) Rutter; grandchildren, Kristina, Peggy, Johnny, Nathaniel, Corey, Noah, Travis and Taylor; 2 great-grandsons and 1 great-granddaughter. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife in 2001, Peggy Lou Rutter; 1 sister; and granddaughter, Shawn Marie Hurley. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 29, 2014 from 12:30 - 2:30 p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER. There will be a procession to the Ferncliff Cemetery for graveside services with Rev. William Blain officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Maurice to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, PO Box 5018 Hagerstown, MD 21741-5018.
