News Death Notice
ROBBINS, Sr., Frank 86, of Springfield, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Friday, February 6, 2015 at The Ohio State University Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on January 24, 1929 to the late Aaron Sr. and Nottie Lee (Johnson) Robbins in Sparta, GA. Frank was a member of Church of Jesus Family Worship Center in Springfield, OH. and a member of Champion Lodge #15 for over 60 years. He retired from C.E. Bauer Bros. and Rittal Corporation. Frank is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mamie L. (Lawrence) Robbins; his children, Nathaniel (Jacqueline) Robbins of Cincinnati, OH, Charles Edward Robbins of Springfield, OH, Frank (Vanessa) Robbins, Jr. of Springfield, OH, Evelyn (Montgomery) Thomas of Pittsburgh, PA, and Linda (Brian) Massie of Noblesville, IN; grandchildren, Melissa R. Robbins of Cincinnati, OH, Brina K. Massie and Linneka (Demarcus) Sneed of Indianapolis, IN, Ericka R. Thomas of Pittsburgh, PA, Montgomery Thomas II of Providence, RI, Racille B. Robbins of Springfield, OH; great-grandchildren, Antoine L. Duncan, Ty'Ron Robbins, Antonia Robbins, Kaleelah Scarbrough, La'Kia Taylor, Amariana D. Robbins, Aveya Robbins, and Ta'mon Robbins; great-great grandchildren, Jah'Riyah Roberts, Jy'Aire Scarbrough, and Arlo White; brothers and sisters, Eddie Lee (Maxine) Robbins, Aaron (Christine) Robbins, Jr., Milton (Virginia) Robbins, Clara Lou (James) Griffin, Pearl (Frank) Boone, and Priscilla Ford. He was preceded in death by his parents, Aaron & Nottie Lee Robbins; brother, Allen Robbins and grandson, Corey Robbins. Visitation is Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m. in the Church of Jesus Family Worship Center. Burial will follow in Ferncliff Cemetery. Arrangements provided by the Robert C. Henry Funeral Home.

Mrs Mamie, I am sorry to hear about Frank. I remember all of the days growing up coming over to your house. From the times he was working in the garden to the days he was in the garage.
