Robert Osth Obituary

OSTH, Robert Edward died Sept 28, 2008, of pneumonia at the Veteran's Hospital, Tampa, FL. He was born Jan. 25, 1921 in Chicago, IL, son of Adam Myron and Estelle Osth. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Elizabeth Holmes Osth; 2 sons, Robert Powers Osth and Craig Peters Osth; daughter, Jaquelin Holmes Osth Nuila; and four grandchildren. He is a graduate of the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD and served in WWII aboard the USS San Francisco in battles against the then Japanese enemy in the Pacific, and later aboard the USS Macon. After working in private business in Virginia, he became head of the math department at Daniel Morgan school in Winchester, VA. As a member of International Golf, he golfed in foreign countries.
