HUSSEY, Kevin Michael

68, of Tierra Verde, passed away suddenly Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 after a brief battle with pancreatic cancer. He is survived by his daughter, Maikael; and his son, Kilraine. Kevin's own words summed it up best, "My main interest in life are my two children, Maikael and Kilraine. In addition, I enjoy anything automotive, concours, classic cars, restoration, camping and boating, and anything that makes the kids smile and learn. I love travel, exploration, and adventure." Kevin also had an amazing circle of friends acquired over the almost 50 years of living in St. Petersburg. He was a friend, a lover, a good man, a great father, and a Proud Irishman. He is also survived by his four brothers, Kent, Sean, Darren, and Tiernan and their spouses; and nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Kevin's Life will be held Saturday, Aug. 27 2-5 pm, at the St. Petersburg Yacht Club. On line memorial and guestbook at:

I was shocked, surprised, and saddened to belatedly learn of Kevin's passing. Kevin was always an outgoing, gregarious, and genuinely nice guy. I know he was devoted to his kids, and that he was born to be a father. It's hard for me to imagine that he's gone, but comforting to know he is in a well earned and better place. My heartfelt condolences go out to his children, family and many friends.

To Kevin's family,
My sincere condolences to all of you. Kevin is the reason I have a career. He was one of the most brilliant people in the title insurance business I have ever known. He was also a visionary and always spoke with wisdom. I loved him and I will miss him dearly. My prayers are with all of you and especially his beautiful children. He will be missed by so many people whose lives he touched over the years. May he rest with the Lord in eternal peace.

May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face. And rains fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palm of His hand. God speed Kevin!!!!
