Christine A. Gurski, 66, of Milton, FL died peacefully on August 11, 2018. A resident since 1976 she worked primarily in banking starting her career at Pioneer Federal in Milton and finishing at First National Bank of Florida for over 20 years.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dorothy and Edward Esz, Sr. She is survived by her husband; Thomas Gurski of Milton, daughter; Kathryn (Kevin) Pinckard of Pace, grandchildren; Chase and Camryn, her brother; Edward (Karen) Esz of Cummings, GA, and nephews/nieces; Matthew, Ryan, and Maggie.

She loved cross stitching, cooking, and traveling in her RV to many states. She loved Gus, her four legged Shih-Tzu who for the last 10 years traveled with her to such places as Niagara Falls, San Diego, the Florida Keys, New England, and Texas. The highlights of her travels were catching rainbow trout on the White River in Arkansas and a cruise to Alaska with close friends, John and Maureen Webster. She also served her country with honor and dignity simply by being a military spouse, holding down the fort during her husband's long separations and deployments.

National Cremation and Burial Society of Milton will be in charge of the arrangements. A private service will be conducted. Special thanks to the care and compassion that she received from the doctors and staff at West Florida Hospital, MD Anderson, and especially her local doctors Tan and Messick along with Covenant Hospice.

The family has requested no flowers and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Leukemia . Her remains will be inurned at Barrancas National Cemetery at a later date.
