Waters, Quran
Quran O'Mari Waters, 5 years old, peacefully passed away at his home on the morning of July 18, 2013 with his mother at his side and surrounded by his loving family. Quran was born September 14, 2007, in Stamford, CT, to Ebony McAllister and Vertis Waters.
Quran was a happy, loving and outstanding little boy. He had a smile that would brighten up your heart. He would laugh and smile at the voices of his mother, his stepfather Bobby, his great grandmother Stella, his aide Yolanda, as well as his teacher and classmates.
Quran attended the JCC Jump start program before going off to pre-K and Kindergarten at Stillmeadow Elementary School. Quran's favorite school activity was circle time. He got full enjoyment from story telling and classroom participation.
Quran is survived by his mother, Ebony McAllister, stepfather, Bobby Rock, stepsister, Savannah Rock, grandmother, Tondra Davis, grandfather, James McAllister, great grandmother, Stella McAllister, as well as his father, Vertis Waters, sister, Vertasia Waters and other siblings. He also leaves behind a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Quran was the pride and joy of his mother's life. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
Quran's family will receive the sympathy of friends and family on the morning of Friday, July 26, 2013, from 9am to 10:45am at Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT 06902. A service will be celebrated at 11am, officiated by Bishop Michael Densmore, immediately after visitation at the funeral home. The committal service and interment will follow the service at Woodland Cemetery in Stamford.
The Waters family has entrusted Quran's final care to Bosak Funeral Home, 453 Shippan Avenue, in Stamford. You are invited to leave a message of condolence on the family guestbook at www.bosakfuneralhome.com or on Facebook at www.facebook.com/bosakfuneralhome.

Death leaves a heartache,no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.Although it's difficult today to see beyond the sorrow, may looking back in memory of Quran comfort you tomorrow.
