William Killough

Killough, William B.
William B. Killough, a long term Westport resident passed away on Monday June 17, 2013 at home. Born in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on July 20, 1923, the son of Willie and Harriet (Hull) Killough. An Air Force pilot he was a veteran of both World War II and Korea. He attended Syracuse University's Maxwell School graduating in 1949. He joined Eastern Airlines until recalled to Korea. He then joined General Electric until his retirement in 1986 after 30 years in a variety of locations, spending the last 15 years at Corporate Headquarters. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Marilyn (Allen) Killough., their son Kevin of Delray Beach, Florida; his sister Eleanor Lynch of Nashua, New Hampshire and nephews Tom and Tim Lynch. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Monday June 24, 2013 @ 11:00 AM in St. Luke Church Westport. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Mr. Killough can be made to the Pequot Library 720 Pequot Ave. Southport, Ct. 06890., The Westport Library 20 Jesup Rd. Westport, Ct. 06880 or Catholic Charities 238 Jewett Ave. Bridgeport, Ct. 06606.
