I knew Mr. (Nikolla) Vlash only briefly. I knew his son Mark Vlash from back in the late 80's/early 90's when we were friendly. I really liked his father who was a very sweet man - always smiling. He loved when I would come over to the house on Lee Street to visit with Mark. I lived within walking distance then and remember they had a Cherry tree in their yard. I was very shocked to hear about Mark's passing in 2007 at such a young age - something I only learned of recently. I am glad his Dad lived to be 86 and that his passing was peaceful. I wish the family well and send my sincerest condolences.
