Tessie Vivirito
Tessie Vivirito, resident of Norwalk, CT, was born in New York, New York on August 3, 1929. She entered into heaven on August 5, 2018 at the age of 89 at Stamford Hospital.
She was the daughter of Giuseppe and Rose Pecoraro, and the sister of Nina Manno and Joseph Pecoraro.
She is predeceased by her beloved husband, Philip Vivirito. During her lifetime she was the owner of Cove Pizza Restaurant located in Stamford, CT for over 30 years. As well as the owner of Long Hill Deli & Catering located in Trumbull, CT for 5 years. Tessie is survived by her two sons, Joseph and Barney Vivirito, along with his wife Rosalba and their three children; Michael, Krista and Deanna. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews of the Manno, Palin, and Pecoraro families. Tessie loved spending her time with her family. Tessie was a beloved mother, grandmother, and aunt. She was incredibly strong, full of happiness, joy, and love and had the biggest heart. Tessie was most special to her family and will be especially missed.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 9, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Philip Church, 1 Father Conlon Place, Norwalk. Entombment will follow at Ferncliff Cemetery, 280 Secor Road, Hartsdale, NY. Friends may call TONIGHT, Wednesday, August 8, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk. Visit www.collins-funeral.com to leave condolences.
