Borsey, Ronald
Ronald Lee Borsey, 60, of Acworth, GA formerly of Stamford, CT and Rhode Island died peacefully July 4, 2013 after battling metastatic melanoma. Ronnie was born in Stamford, CT on August 23, 1952, the seventh child of Anne and John Borsey. He graduated from Rippowam High School and was a member of the football team. As a youth, he was an avid and talented baseball player. He loved to read, work on his coin collection, go fishing, and had a passion for cooking. Ron was the proud father of John Borsey (Kim) of Woodstock, GA, Dan Borsey of Kennebunk, ME, and Tim Borsey of Acworth, GA and his beloved grandchildren Ashley, Rusty, Justin, Trystan, Hayley & Abby, who will all miss him terribly. He is survived by his seven siblings, Robert Daly (Gail), of Stamford, CT, Fred Daly of Port Chester, NY, Albert Daly (Lan), of Hurricane, UT, Mary Anne Shannon (Gene), of Woodbridge, CT, John Borsey (Wendy) of Stratford, CT, William Borsey, of Greenwich, CT, Mark Borsey (Nancy) of Stamford, CT, and many loving nieces and nephews, as well as his former wife and best friend "Cissie" Myra Intondi. Despite his "tough guy" appearance, Ron will be remembered for his warmth and sensitivity by all who knew him. Memorial services will be held in Georgia and Stamford at a later date. At the family's request contributions may be made in Ron's name to The .
