Marian E. Komishock, 76, formerly of Drifton, passed away Friday in Blossburg. Born in Drums, she was the daughter of the late Harry M. and Jane Howey Miller. For 30 years, Marian was a cook at the White Haven Center. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Freeland, and a social member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5010 , the American Legion Post 473, and the Jeddo Stars AA. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her husband, Michael, Jan. 20, 2019; and a son, Daniel Walton. Surviving are daughters, Debbie Walton and fiancé, Daniel "Tiger" Kay, Sandy Run; Brenda Walton and significant other, Jeffrey Wilson, Sandy Valley; Wendy Walton Puk, White Haven; sisters, Joan Dias, Hazleton; and Mary Lou Dias, Weatherly; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at McHugh-Wilczek Funeral Home, 249 Centre St., Freeland, followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, Freeland. The viewing for family and friends will be held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. All COVID-19 restrictions will apply during the viewing and services.
