Eric Antonio Cruz, 21, of Hazleton passed away Thursday at his residence. He was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico, son of Antonio and Maria Isabel (Cruz) Cruz. He is survived, in addition to his parents, by his siblings, Victor Antonio Cruz and Marielys Cruz; paternal grandparents, Antonio and Junita Cruz; maternal grandmother, Anastasio Cruz; and his uncle, Kelvin Cruz. He was preceded in death by his sister, Jaineliz Cruz, in January 2020. Friends and relatives are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Saturday at Annunciation Parish at the Church of St. Gabriel, Hazleton. Interment will follow in St. Gabriel's Cemetery. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a viewing will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Frank J. Bonin Funeral Home Inc., Hazleton.
