Charlotte Rachel Kuehn, 90, of South Old Turnpike Road, Drums, died early Friday morning at Fritzingertown Senior Living Community, where she had been a guest for the past year. Born in Tomhicken on Nov. 10, 1930, she was a daughter of the late George and Rachel (Kishbaugh) Kyte and was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, St. Johns. Charlotte was a graduate of West Hazleton High School and in her early years was employed as a seamstress for various local factories. After getting married, she dedicated her life to raising her family and taking care of her home. Preceding her in death, in addition to her parents, were her brother, George Kyte Jr.; and sister, Joan Mcafee. Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Linford Kuehn Sr.; daughter, Nancy Schoch and her husband, James, Hazleton; sons, Dale Kyte, Drums; and Linford Kuehn Jr., Hazleton; grandchildren, Cassandra Freeman, Drums; Tyler Hottenstein Sr., Hazleton; and Sabrina Schoch, Hazleton; great-grandchildren, Cole Freeman; and Tyler Hottenstein Jr.; sister, Doris Price and her husband, John, Plymouth Meeting; brother, John Kyte and his wife, Elaine, Eagle Rock; and several nieces and nephews. No services are planned at this time; however, a memorial service will take place at a later date.
