Age 81, passed away at home on Wednesday February 18, 2015. Roy was born in Tower City, PA on February 4, 1934 the son of John and Margaret (Shaeffer) Machamer. Arrangements by McInerny Funeral Home.

When I was a kid, back in 75 - 76, I remember "Uncle" Roy driving up in front of our house in his adorable blue Porsche, wearing that complete 70's look with the sunglasses and all, the way he hopped out of the car, and would pick me up and swing me in circles till I couldn't stop laughing...I always was so happy when he would come over. Now that dad is gone too, it makes all the memories, more painful but more precious. God Bless. Julie and Mary Anglin

I send my condolences to Roy's family. Roy and I shared many pleasant times visiting and chatting as I gardened. Our backyards joined and gave us a nice chance to chat and have a cool refreshing lemonade along with our neighbor Don Ross. Roy was a faithful friend to Don and I always enjoyed listening to their tales of shopping and outings. Roy will always be in our fond memories of when we lived on Farnham Street.

We are all so sorry to hear of Mr Machamer's passing. He was a valued customer and much more, a pleasure to work for and I always enjoyed talking with him, he was witty and kind. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family during this time.
