Just learning of Marsha I first think of her love for her family. She often shared family experiences-always with a smile. She was a caring teacher and worked hard for the best experiences for her students. As department chair she was always professional and efficient. My time at SHS was certainly enhanced by her dedication to her students and her colleagues. She was truly a gifted teacher! Fondly remembering Marsha-Ken Thomas

I am so sorry to hear of her death. I was honored to be her Pastor for three years at Webb Mills. It was a privilege to bring her into the church as a member. She did share with me her struggles and she talked freely to me about her life. I was proud to have served her.

I am so saddened by this news. Mrs. Brown was truly the true meaning of "teacher". She taught to see her students succeed. If it wasn't for Mrs. Brown I would not have graduated. It came down to two days before graduation while she and I waited for my Regents test scores to come back. There is certainly a place in teacher heaven for people like her. My sympathy to her family and friends. She is missed already.
