White, Ralph G. Sr.
Age 88, passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Schuyler Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 16, 1925 in Elmira, NY to the late Nathan and Addie (Mansfield) White. Ralph was predeceased by his brother, John White and sister, Cora Courtright. He is survived by his children, Ralph White Jr. of PA, Helen (David) Alford of Trumansburg, NY, Bonnie White of Montour Falls, Joan Kinner of Odessa, Donna (Paul) Compton of Burdett, NY, Nancy (Daniel) Greenawalt of Erin, Patrick (Cheryl) White of Cayuta, NY and Sandy Babcock of Montour Falls; former wife, Helen Moore of Montour Falls; 18 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; along with several nieces and nephews. Ralph was a veteran of the US Navy serving during WWII and the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 154 in Elmira Heights and also a member of the Thatchers Men's Club. He loved hunting, fishing, camping and NASCAR and collecting anything and everything, but his greatest love was spending time with his children and grandchildren. It was Ralph's wish that all services be held privately and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations in Ralph's name can be made to the Bath VA Medical Center, 76 Veterans Avenue, Bath, NY 14810. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James D. Barrett Funeral Home.

To pat , Bonnie, Whittey and everyone I am sorry to have seen your dad's obit in the paper .Some people you think are going to live forever and then you realize that it's not the case .my thoughts are with you
