Freddy Loucks Obituary
Age 43, of Mansfield, PA, died on Sunday, November 22, 2009, in Rutland Twp., PA. He was born on June 2, 1966 in Rochester, NY, the son of Jerry Thomas Loucks and Lorraine (Davis) Dutton. Fred was employed with Hale Contracting in Horseheads, NY. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar, listening to the radio and Johnny Cash, working in his garage and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers. Fred is survived by a son, Cameron "CJ" ( Kristen) Loucks, a granddaughter, Sayde Jo Loucks, all of Tioga, PA; his mother and step-father, Lorraine and Paul Dutton of Vero Beach, FL, his loving companion Monica Miller and her children, Steven and Mitchell and fiancé (Liz) Miller all of Mansfield, PA; Monica's parents, Elmer and Bonnie Neal of Wellsboro, PA, a brother, Jerry Loucks of Barefoot Bay, FL; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Paula and Andy Harmon of Lawrenceville, PA, Bobbie-Jo Dutton of Vero Beach, FL, Sherry Loucks; a special uncle, David (Evelyn) Dutton of Millerton, PA; four nephews and many friends. Fred was predeceased by his father, Jerry Loucks and his maternal grandparents, William and Evelyn Davis. Family and friends are invited to call on Wednesday, November 25, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held immediately following calling hours at 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. I can't believe it has been over 2 years since your passing! We miss you so much and still have those days where we think to ourselves, "this is a dream right? A nightmare of which you were taken from us? I will wake up and you will be there." But each time we are disappointed to find it isn't a dream at all. Fred I still can't believe you are gone. Not a day goes by that I don't look at Sayde' Jo and Cameron and think of you. Sayde' is so much like you that it is unbelievable. I know it's taken me a while to write in this, but I just didn't know what to say. Fred meant so much to me. He came into our house and treated us like family from the beginning where many stepfathers could care less about the children in a family. He gave all of us more than he needed to and more than we deserved. Nothing will ever be the same without him. We miss you Fred and we all love you.

Fred, this was you to not only Mitchell and I but to many, many people as we have seen at your funeral. So many to show up and so many more who had wished to make it. In this time of grief I want all to know we are here to help each other.
Although you won't be here physically to be our best man at the wedding or here when your grandchildren are born and growing, we know you will be here in soul and although they won't get to see you but in pictures, I know you will still see them. It is so obvious that Fred will be missed greatly by all...he was such a great man to everyone he laid eyes on! He brought great happiness to my best friend Monicas life for over 13 years. To our beautiful daughter Monica, Fred loved you with all his heart. He said you were his "Angel from God."
