AKRON — Nicholas M. Marino, age 53, a resident of Ashtabula, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 7, 2009, in Akron, Ohio.Born March 26, 1956, in Ashtabula, Ohio, the son of Joseph and Sadie (Candela) Marino.He attended Harbor High School and had worked for the former Geneva Rubber.Survivors include his daughter, Mindy Marino of Ashtabula; a sister, Rose (Ken) Hope of Ashtabula; a brother, Joseph Marino of Orwell; his loving companion, Marie Gmerek of Akron; and his faithful dog, Gracy.He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Nicholas.Funeral Services will be 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 11th, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula, with Deacon Richard Johnson officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph Cemetery.Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of Service, Sunday, at the Funeral Home.Contributions can be made to the family in care of his daughter, Mindy.Obituary and condolences at starbeacon.com.
