Age 58, of Ewa Beach, Oahu, passed away July 23, 2009 in the Philippines. Born January 16, 1951 in Amistad, Tayug, Pangasinan, Philippines. Retired from Safeway Supermarket Kapolei and Kapiolani Bakery as a Baker.
He is survived by wife, Celedonia Asperin Tapiz; daughters, Frances Tapiz Andrian, Jo-Ann A. Payne, Esperanza A. Tapiz; son, Francisco A. Tapiz Jr.; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Loreto K. (Erlinda) Bianan of Philadelphia, Renato K. Tapiz of California; sisters, Julita (Jose) Reyes of California, Rosita T. (Marcial) Asperin, Alejandra T. Castullo of California, Violeta K. Tapiz (Adoracion Alvarez) of California.
Visitation 6:00-9:00 PM Friday (August 28) at Mililani Mortuary Makai Chapel. Wake Service 7:00 PM. Visitation also 9:00 AM Saturday (August 29) at Immaculate Conception Church (91-1298 Renton Rd., Ewa) Mass: 10:00 AM. Burial 12:30 PM at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual Attire. Flowers Welcome.
