Uncle you are truly missed, your laughter, your love, at family mochi making before each new year arrives. I appreciate the time I got to have with you. I remember your big smile when I last saw you. I remember your gentle soul. I remember you telling me to take life at my pace.. thank you for such special time.. I will never forget you

I met Patti and Seth through our job here at the Battleship Missouri. They were our AFLAC team. We remember him here as the man that would tell us "Make sure you get your receipt, you can get money for that!" He made us laugh and he poked fun at me for being "clumsy" and told me I did good since I got the accident plan...He was a wonderful man and he will be truly missed...Patti we love you!!!

I met Mr. Sakai once at the old Times supermarket in Niu Valley. I approached him, introduced myself and told him that I had recently returned from a trip to the Dallas-Ft Worth area and for some reason, my last night there, I just could not sleep so I ended up watching TV. The movie
"Midway" was on in which Mr. Sakai had a part followed by a "5-0" episode in which Mr. Sakai played a police Capt. helping McGarrett look for the bad guy played by local boy Don Stroud. We had a nice conversation and laugh.

We have known Sai for many years - a bit before he decided he wanted to fall in love and marry Lucy's best friend - Pat. Over the years we have visited Hawaii from the mainland and always got together for dinner. Our two children have always called Sai "Uncle Sai" as if one of the family. We have followed, with interest, his professional, acting and especially spiritual journey. We remember the great times when Pat & Sai visited us on the mainland as well as our Hawaii trips. He was a great friend and will be missed. In a recent loss of David's mother he clung to a song by Chris Rice - "Untitled Hymn". Listen carefully to the words and it will describe Sai's life perfectly. One of our greatest moments was when we learned that Pat & Sai turned to Christ. Because of this, we can have the joy of knowing that Sai will be with his Father in peace and joy.
