Thomas Blake Fletcher
'Cared and felt deeply,' lived in Florham Park, Parsippany
Thomas Blake Fletcher, 62, passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2020 in the loving arms of his partner, Debbi Kirwan, at their Parsippany residence.
Tom was born in Syracuse, N.Y. on May 4, 1958, but was a proud resident of Florham Park, N.J., for most of his life. It was here that he was raised in the quintessential suburbia of Kenneth Court by his fun loving parents, Robert and Marty Fletcher (predeceased). Tom was a typical Irishman who enjoyed a good story, good cocktail, and good company. To love Tom was to understand, although he did not wear his heart on his sleeve, he was someone who cared and felt deeply. He adored his children, Lauren (Billy) Crispino of Rockaway, Ryan (fiance, Callie) Fletcher of Denver, Amanda Fletcher, and Abby Fletcher, both of East Hanover. His greatest delight was being with his granddaughters, Avery and Sophia Crispino. He cherished family and particularly enjoyed spending time with his older brothers, Steve (Patti) Fletcher and Bob (Cyndi) Fletcher and his nieces and nephews. Tom's life will be celebrated at another point in time.

The Fletcher family lived across from me on Kenneth Court and what a fun loving family they were. Tom was happy go lucky and so friendly. My sincerest condolences to the Fletcher family on the loss of Tommy. He is with Marty and Fletch now and watching over all of you. RIP Tommy.

So much more than a Kenneth Court neighbor. He was my older brother. Fun loving and complex, deep thinker all rolled into one. Tobogganing down Nabiscos hill at night. I would never have attempted something so outrageously daring without Tom. The best human ever!

Some of the most wonderful recollections of my childhood were right there as a Kenneth Court kid and Tommy Fletcher was a huge contributor to those great memories. The daily evening basketball in their driveway and the never ending weekend street football games are highlights of the fabulous irretrievable past. May Tommy rest comfortably in God's Almighty Kingdom.

A most excellent friend and teammate. Always uncountable pant loads of laughs with Tom in the house. The hive is going to be a lot more lonely without this Hornet around. Thanks to Debbi for all your love and care for him. See you on the other side, Tom, well have several beers.

I worked with Tom years ago in the 1990's. A real nice guy, always smiling and joking. A good worker and friend. May he rest in the arms of Jesus, at peace with the fine life he led on this earth and the joy he brought to others. He is in my prayers.
