Jack W. Brannon, born September 20, 1936 in Dallas TX, joined God in heaven on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at the age of 84. He was a graduate of Adamson High School and studied engineering at UT Arlington. He spent a majority of his life as an engineer for Texas Instruments and raising his family in Plano. After 35 years, Jack began a second career driving a school bus for Dallas ISD and finishing as a bus driver for Duncanville ISD.
Preceded in death by his wife, Stella; parents Ava and Felton Brannon; sister, Jeanine Anthony. Survived by Carolyn Chandler, spouse, of Duncanville, TX; Daughters: Angie Aldridge (husband Dennis) of Plano, TX; Kelley Stoermer (husband Trey) of Trophy Club, TX; Sons: Matt Brannon of Lyons, CO; Mark Brannon of Arvada, CO; 10 grandchildren: Amber Gates (husband Ryan); Patrick Kurkowski; Brooke Marvel (husband Cody); Blake Stoermer (fiancé Hannah); Bailey Stoermer; Daniel, Ian, & Emerson Brannon; Emma & Isaac Turner; 2 Great-Grandchildren: Rylie & Adaline Gates; along with nieces, nephews and great friendships he has maintained over the years.
A celebration of life will be held and open to all friends and family on Tuesday, February 2nd at Faith Bible Church in Desoto, TX at 10:30 am. Livestream will be available at faithbible.com
for those unable to attend. Final interment will be at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas, TX.
