Louise Vier of Plano, Texas passed away December 16, 2020 at the age of 87. She was born on July 8, 1933 to Leonard Hill and Lucille (Cooper) Hill in McKinney, Texas. Louise was a 1952 graduate of McKinney Boyd High School in McKinney. She married the late Eugene Hall Vier on October 24, 1954 in Durant, Oklahoma and they enjoyed 61 years of marriage before his passing in 2016. Louise worked for over 50 years and retired in June of 2002 from Bank of America. She loved music, concerts and movies. Louise most loved her family, and she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister to her family.

She is survived by her son, Leonard Craig Vier and wife, Joanne of Bonham, Texas; daughter, Laurie Futch and husband, Steve of Ponder, Texas; grandchildren, Caleb Strait and wife, Stephanie, Cooper Strait, Mindy Wallace and husband, Wayne, and Jannell Minor and husband, John; eight great-grandchildren, Will, Josh, Eva, James, River, Chance, Layne and Jonas; numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Louise was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Vier; parents, Leonard and Lucille Hill; and sister, Helen Fisher.

In support of our local, state, and federal govt including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Funeral Service.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Monday, December 21, 2020, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The service will also be live streamed at TJMfuneral.com on Louise's obituary page by clicking on the following link: Celebrationoflife.tv. After the service, the recorded live stream will be available for viewing at the same link location.

However, when the maximum number of guests are reached, those who would like to honor Louise and show their support to her family may remain at the funeral home in your vehicle, where you can watch the live streamed service on your personal device (laptop, tablet or smartphone) or listen through a designated FM radio channel.

A “come and go” visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen. Only a limited number of guests will be allowed to enter the funeral home facility at any one time to maintain social distancing and masks will be required.
