1940 - 2018 Obituary Condolences

Zeaite Faye Sexton, a longtime resident of Allen, Texas, went to her Heavenly home on May 20, 2018 at the age of 77. She was born on November 11, 1940 to Jessie J. and Odessa Williamson in Alabama City, Alabama. Zeaite married Carl M. Sexton on October 20, 1955 in Alabama. She had a fighting spirit and remained strong during the time she spent battling her illness. Zeaite loved spending time with her family and cherished each moment they were together. Her favorite activities included sitting on her back patio enjoying the outdoors, working crossword puzzles, as well as watching a variety of old western movies. She also found great pleasure in walking and playing with her dog, Prissy, whom she cherished. Zeaite was a thoughtful, caring woman and deeply loved by her friends and family. She was known for her appreciation of the simple things. Her kind, sweet spirit will be remembered by those whose lives she has touched, and we will carry her memory in our hearts forever.

Zeaite is survived by her daughter, Dona Montgomery and husband, Scott of Plano, Texas; grandchildren, Haylie Sparks and husband, Joshua of Melissa, Texas, Conner Montgomery of Plano, Texas, Trent Sexton of Lewisville; daughter-in-law, Mary Sexton of Dallas; sisters, Margaret Jenkins of McKinney, Texas, Sheila Martin of Brookwood, Alabama; brother, Jim Williamson also of Brookwood, Alabama; and a large extended family in Texas and out of state.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jessie J. and Odessa Williamson; her husband, Carl Sexton; her son, Randy Sexton; and her brothers, Richard Thompson, Daniel Otts and Will C. Otts.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Thursday, May 24, 2018 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, 2525 Central Expressway North, Allen, Texas 75013. There will be a reception immediately following the service at 1713 Cathedral Dr., Plano, Texas 75023.
