I wanted to add that we always enjoyed the Batson Reunions our under her great big old trees. The last couple of years they were inside, it was either hot or raining. I will miss them, I hope someone will pick it up and continue them.

Edith was a blessing to all who knew her. I couldn't wait each week to read her article, you learned so much about her and about everyone in Burgaw. Your stories will be missed. She was really one of a king, and just had to love her. Our sympathy to Stephen and Edith and all the grandchildren.
