MICHELLE CROOM Obituary
Michelle Webster Croom, 59, of Delco, NC, died peacefully, Monday afternoon, April 16, 2012, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
She was born on July 1, 1952, in Albuquerque, NM, the daughter of the late Thomas W. "Web" Webster and Lorraine Jean Webster.
Michelle Croom was a 1970 graduate of Nathan Hale High School. She loved being surrounded by family, with a passion for gardening, taking care of neglected and abused animals, and being anchor for her family. She and her husband, Richard, relocated from Portland, TX, to Delco, NC, in 2007.
Surviving is her husband, Richard D. Croom; two children, John T. Harlas of Kingsville, TX, and Megan M. Harlas of Delco, NC. Michelle is also survived by three siblings, Thomas Webster (Lori) of Missoula, MT, Toke Webster (Polly) of Kalispell, MT, and Marilyn Townsend (Tim) of Arlington, TX, and a niece and nephews.
A small memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, April 19, 2012, at Livingston Baptist Church, 4629 Livingston Chapel Road, Delco, NC, with family members sharing some of their memories.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Columbus County Animal Shelter, 288 Legion Drive, Whiteville, NC 28472.

Rick, I'm so glad Michelle met and married you. Both of you were definitly in love. It was so great to see. Rick only Michelle's body is gone. Her love, spirit and memories are still alive in your heart. God Bless you and your family.
